Sales

Achievement and continuity of personal goals play an outstanding role for self motivation in a sales position.

And how about these peculiar little acquired behaviour patterns that occasionally put themselves in the way of success: Telephobia. Overpreparing. Doomsaying.

How does a training and coaching concept for this look like?

Brand Story

Kapel & Muur

In the undulating hills of Flanders lies an epic place.
It has been the venue of peerless enthusiasm and support for extraordinary achievement over more than one hundred years. During springtime this site is the highlight during the annual staging of one of the five classic cycling monuments in professional racing.

Spectators from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, England and many other parts of the world gather here. In Flanders they go by the name of “Supporters”. United they live this special day in one place and take their riders far. Crowded the Supporters stand together and in competitive fairness the cultural contest of bolstering in rivalry for their idols unfolds. Simultaneously unified in enthusiasm for the performances on display.
Just as the performance of any individual rider is incapable of shaping the race, but may suffice to decide its outcome.

My personal background

Alex Kaukars

In my private life I am a born Frankfurt city-child.

My secret home is South America.

I was an apprentice in the airline industry.

I hold a masters degree in business administration with a focus on Supply-Chain Management and systems theory. I have spent my work life of 10 years to date in B2B sales in Germany and Europe.

I believe people enjoy learning rather than being lectured. I am inspired by people who enjoy all of their achievements as if they were their first. I have great positive respect for the diversity of types of human behaviour. I find things can be viewed from many different points. And I do believe there is no single point from which all others are viewable. I am a curious person.

… bringing cultures
together

Intercultural meetings and collaboration are part of business life routine. A common language is easily found. Beyond this a common understanding is to attune: In daily communication between a headquarter and local units. Or between different company divisions. Particularly during project and creative stages.

Are misunderstandings indeed primarily determined by culture? What is the role situation and person are playing in this? How can intercultural teams take a next step? For instance in order to resolve conflicts resulting from culturally shaped value concepts, e.g. the reticence of individuals in light of others’ zest for action. To play individual strengths hidden in the background and achieve an optimum team result?
